Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU 2F/3F
Shift: Nights, 6p-6a, 12×3, 36 hours per week
Length: 13 weeks
Call: Placed on call by HS must be available till 4AM or required to float within the system
Weekends: 4 weekend shifts a month required (Friday and Saturday are weekend shift nights)
Requirements:
- TX License
- 2+ Years of experience
- Must have Cardiology experience with (open hearts, heart failure, post Cath lab patients, valve patients)
- BLS
- CV experience preferred
- LVAD experience preferred
- Meditech proficiency preferred
Other Details:
- EMR – Meditech
- Number of Beds – 52 PCU
- Patient Ratios – 1:5 and PCTs take a range of 7-15 patients with a free PCT lead
- Type of equipment – Welch Allyn vital sign machines, GE EKG machines, Pyxis machines, PC computers 3 per pod, stat strip (nova) glucometers, Philips remote tele boxes and in room monitors, iMobile iPhones
- Scrub Color – Navy blue
- No fleece jackets
