An Aging Care Manager 2 is expected to appropriately maintain a caseload of vulnerable consumers. It will be essential to exercise initiative and independent judgment in discharging assignments and seeking advice and help with the more unusual and difficult cases. You will have the opportunity to obtain information from the consumer, members of the consumers' families, neighbors, and other persons necessary for the identification of social, economic, emotional, health, or physical problems to recognize and provide appropriate assistance for the consumer.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- May be required to be on a standby rotation for off-hours coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as an Aging Care Manager 1 or a County Caseworker 1;
- Successful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program;
- Six months of professional human services or nursing experience; and a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, behavioral sciences, human services, or a closely related field;
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Westmoreland, Allegheny, Armstrong, Cambria, Fayette, Somerset, Indiana, and Washington counties. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
