Join Our Team: Seeking Clinical Research Fellow – ELEVATE Programme
18 Oct 2024
We are now accepting applications for a Clinical Research Fellow to support the work of pillar 1 of the ELEVATE programme – PREVENT: Prediction of the at-risk pregnancy and prediction of sentinel events before birth associated with early brain injury and cerebral palsy.
The funding includes salary on the SpR scale and includes travel and consumables. This also covers University fees of up to a maximum of €5,900 per annum and is tenable for three years (full-time).
Project outline
Multiple fetal maternal factors lead to increased risk of poor pregnancy and fetal outcome. In this project we plan to identify and systematically review the most important maternal and fetal risk factors for pregnancy outcomes. We aim to harness the power of artificial intelligence to interrogate maternal and neonatal datasets at the INFANT Research Centre and from data available in the Maternal & Newborn Clinical Management System (MN-CMS), a unique set of electronic health records. Using multiple variables identified in these data, we plan to develop models to provide essential clinical decision-making support to identify and better monitor pregnancies deemed at risk of adverse perinatal outcomes.
- Closing date for applications: 12 noon (Irish Local Time) on Friday, 01 November 2024
