Location
Our client is located in Caledonia, Wisconsin. Caledonia is located in Racine County, Wisconsin, situated near the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. It provides a mix of suburban and rural areas, offering a quiet, scenic environment within a close commute to larger cities like Milwaukee and Racine. Caledonia is known for its parks, open spaces, and natural beauty, making it a welcoming place for outdoor lovers! The close-knit community makes Caledonia a wonderful place to live and work.
Practice Overview
For over 50 years, our privately owned veterinary practice has been serving the community, offering high-quality care to pets and their families. Proudly AAHA-accredited, our practice adheres to the highest standards in veterinary medicine. It is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital radiography, laser therapy, ultrasound, and an in-house lab. Our team is fear-free certified, and we work with our clients to educate them and ensure their pets receive the best care possible. We have recently fully remodeled our facility, and have a comfortable, up-to-date environment for our team, our clients, and our patients.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Nurture and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
- Maintain a positive work environment
Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited program is required.
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
- New graduates are welcome to apply!
- Proficient in conducting general wellness exams and surgeries.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn and develop professionally.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated compassion for both patients and clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
