YOUR ROLE
- Leads and develops the lab team.
- Maintains and actively manages lab facilities and equipment.
- Collaborates with manufacturing to proactively improve product quality.
- Ensures safe working environment and promotes safe working practices.
- Fosters a collaborative and supportive team environment that reinforces Company Values.
- Leads Continuous Improvement Initiatives and supports the deployment of Henkel Production System throughout area of responsibility.
- Troubleshoots process incidents, identifies root cause, identifies courses of action, actively manage corrective measures.
- Participate in investigation of out-of-specification results.
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related technical field, preferred.
- Previous quality management, people leadership in manufacturing, preferred.
- Microbiology experience preferred.
- Relevant certifications (Six Sigma, ASQ, Lead Auditor, etc.) preferred.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and hygiene, GMP, and quality standards.
- Able to use multiple problem-solving tools to determine root cause and develop corrective action.
- Solid analytical chemistry and instrumentation troubleshooting skills.
- Flexibility to manage people and issues and have a presence across all shifts.
The salary for this role is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range may also be modified in the future.
