Position Summary: Participate as a leader and active team-member to support the behavioral health of clients accessing services at FSRI. Responsible for supervising community service programs such as DCYF contracted Trauma Systems Therapy teams. Supports a trauma-informed, client and family-centered philosophy of care. Performs crisis assessments, brief treatment, and consultation where needed, and manages evidenced-based models of treatment. Participates in on-call emergency services. Conducts clinical training as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required.
- Independent license required.
- Required to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor.
- Proficiency in professional writing.
- Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs.
- Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated.
- Flexible schedule with some evenings.
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
