SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT
To assist in the provision of speech and/or language services to students as required by individual education plans under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

- Implements speech-language treatment goals and related activities under the direction of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
- Records documentation of services and student performance.
- Selects and prepares materials to implement treatment goals.
- Performs checks and maintenance of equipment.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
SALARY
Starting salary for Bachelor’s degree with SPC ($46,138). May increase with additional education and experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Hold or be eligible for a Maryland license as a speech-language pathology assistant from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
