About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty: OR - Circulate
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Operating Room experience. Scrub experience is preferred. Candidates with both circulate and scrub experience will receive first consideration.
License: Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) is required.
Certifications: BLS (AHA)
Must-Have: Personal vehicle is a firm requirement. Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred. Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric surgeries is required.
Job Description:
- Must include Nursing Service Agency License with submission.
- Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility will not be considered.
- Permanent address must be provided at profile upload to avoid processing delays.
- All requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified upon profile upload; no more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.
- Must be willing to work two of the following holiday periods: Thanksgiving and the weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the weekend after.
- Facility-provided scrubs must be worn.
- Orientation consists of 8 hours, which are non-billable.
- Candidates must be available for weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
- 8-hour shifts only; schedule accommodations for 10/12-hour shifts will not be considered.
- A profile should include a work history, a skills checklist pertinent to the position (current to 1 year), a supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment, and all required licenses and certifications.
