Join our therapy services team at AnthroMed Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Smyrna, Delaware! You’ll work closely with all key stakeholders including students, families, and educators to provide quality speech and language services for K-12 students.
Job Responsibilities:
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a pivotal role in developing the communication skills of K-12 students. Your skilled intervention will help them overcome speech and language challenges and thrive academically. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess speech needs and identify growth areas for students based on academic impact.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Providing direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students.
- Working closely with classroom teachers and other disciplines to meet students' speech and language needs.
- Monitoring student progress through observations and data collection, allowing for any necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintaining open and regular communication with caregivers, sharing updates, and offering strategies to promote continued growth at home.

Qualifications:
- School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-12th grade children.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid DE SLP license from the Delaware Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
