Above It All is seeking an Addictions Clinical Supervisor to provide administrative oversight of the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program. This individual will be responsible for supervising, planning, and as needed, conducting therapeutic activities for both individuals and groups within the program and if needed, will also counsel clients on an individual and group basis. This individual will be a key contributor within our interdisciplinary team and incorporate knowledge of each client's conditions and needs to ensure appropriate, individualized and quality care delivery.
Responsibilities:
Fulfill the administrative and programmatic requirements under COMAR 10.63.03.03.
Provide coaching and hands on supervision as needed with all SUD direct care staff.
Ensure the development of a staffing plan that identifies the type and number of staff needed to provide a program of rehabilitation and recovery services for individuals with SUD.
Maintain good relationships with community stakeholders and partners in mental health service delivery as directed.
Attend trainings, workshops, and other relevant professional development events.
Attend Weekly Team Meetings - Review of census and weekly report with administrative staff.
Work with staff and/or immediate supervisor(s) in cases requiring corrective or disciplinary action and performance improvement planning.
Qualifications:
Be employed as a clinical supervisor before October 1, 2002; or
Have at a minimum a master's degree in counseling or a related discipline regulated under the Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, and certification or licensure as an alcohol and drug counselor by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists; or
Approval to supervise by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapist.
