St. Peters Health Partners is seeking to recruit a Physician Assistant to join Capital Region Urology located in Troy, NY. PAs work with Urologists in the outpatient clinic. This role is full-time (Monday-Friday) with telephone call rotation. This position will treat adults of all ages. Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of problems of the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive organs, our urologists offer a full range of urological services in both the office and hospital settings.

Position Responsibilities:

Monday through Friday schedule, dayshift;
Weeknight first call telephone 5-9pm Monday - Thursday, 1 in 11 call rotation;
Preoperative teaching for surgical patients undergoing radical surgery (on the job training);
Postoperative care of surgical patients in the outpatient setting including complex oncologic cases;
Routine urology follow-ups;
Participation in an Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic;
Procedures in the office - no prior experience required (on the job training provided).

Requirements:

Interest and desire to work in a high volume Urology program;
Experience or Clinical rotation in Urology preferred;
NYS licensure;
DEA required;
Board Certification.
