Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $250,000.00 - $275,000.00
State Forensic Examiner OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated Forensic Pathologist to join our team and make a significant impact as a State Forensic Examiner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Oversee approximately 200-250 autopsy cases annually from the western 32 counties of North Dakota.
- Public Health Focus: Benefit from North Dakota's low crime rate, which allows for a greater emphasis on public health within death investigations.
Candidate Qualifications:
- BC in Forensic Pathology preferred, but not required.
- Inquisitive nature, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain professional detachment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, with higher compensation for board-certified candidates.
- Hiring Bonus: Up to $75,000
- Moving Expenses: Reimbursement up to $5,000 with appropriate documentation.

- Continuing Medical Education: Time and allowance provided for professional development.
- Paid Time Off: 16 days of PTO plus 10 federal holidays.
