Job Description
Collecting and storing all relevant daily, weekly, and monthly reports directly related to Field Operation’s performance in Safety, Reliability, Budget, and Customer Satisfaction.
Developing and managing IT applications to provide easy access and interpretation of said reports.
Interpreting reports to identify patterns and trends across the division and in specific work groups, then helping provide strategic direction to leadership.
Monitoring industry activities and proposing independent learning opportunities for the assigned business area employees (including best practices).
Developing training presentations and procedural manuals for management.
Evaluating business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and facilitating solution development and implementation.
Providing storm performance analytics support to RMT during major storm events.
Serving as a liaison between Western Division Field Operations group and IT.
Determining IT needs and access for the Western Division management team and providing assessment on the effectiveness of existing department programs and initiatives.
Working with SMEs within Eversource and overall industry to help the Division improve performance in complex and troublesome issues.
Supporting the analysis and tracking of equipment failure and providing support in coordinating multiple resources across departments to repair and restore that equipment.
Requirements
- Must be a student or already enrolled in a program pursuing a degree in related fields: Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or Finance.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization and with counterparts in outside organizations.
- Ability to think and act strategically in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting and/or conflicting priorities.
- Ability to strategically evaluate and implement high-level programs and initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in the use of software applications for the development of decision analysis models.
- Clear and concise written communication skills.
- Strong spoken communication skills, including the ability to make presentations before a variety of audiences.
- Strong mental acuity including the ability to discuss ideas intelligently and be persuasive.
- Extensive analytical skills including the ability to draw sound conclusions and act decisively.
- Project coordination skills.
- Strong spreadsheet, analytical, and statistical skills with attention to details and deadlines.
