Job Title: Full Time Child and Family Specialist
Division/Program: (Outpatient) Wraparound
Starting Compensation: 22.00 - 26.00 USD Per Hour
Working Location: Fresno, CA
Working Hours/Shift: Monday- Thursday 4 day/10 hour work schedule

What you bring to SBHG:
- High School diploma or equivalent, is required.
- (3) years’ experience with severely emotionally disturbed children and families preferred.
- Associates degree in a Mental Health, Human Services or closely related Field required with (2) years’ experience with severely emotionally disturbed children and families preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Mental Health, Human Services or closely related Field required with (1) years’ experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children and/or families preferred.
- Valid California Driver's License is required.
How you will make a difference:
- Attends and actively participates in Child and Family Team Meetings.
- Provides behavioral management and behavioral modification, skill building, vocational training, school observations, school supervision and intervention as needed.
- Documents child and family’s behaviors and responses to interventions, activity and communication, in TEAMMATES records.
- Monitors a child’s progress at home, school, work, and other areas and assists with providing appropriate motivational support.
- Attends school and recreational activities with child/family as needed.
- Assists caregiver in managing child’s unstructured time by providing resources and teaching skills. Provides respite care for caregivers as determined by CFT.
- Assists CFT in working with child/families, representatives of referring agencies, and other relevant parties (in-house and external) developing the capacity to meet needs and obtain long term self-sufficiency as determined by CFT.
- Must be available for on-rotation, 24/7 on-call services to assist in crisis intervention and to provide support for problem resolution.
