Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a position at Clara Maass Medical Center, a 450-bed community hospital in Belleville, NJ. Clara Maass is part of the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health System. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide both inpatient and outpatient coverage.
This account will fall under the SodexoMAGIC portfolio of business. SodexoMAGIC is a joint Sodexo/Magic Johnson venture that promises to empower the communities we serve by offering best-in-class food & facilities management solutions.
Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process, including nutrition standards of care for inpatient and outpatient settings;
- Be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification;
- Participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives;
- Serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in group education classes, committees, and community outreach events as needed;
- Mentor and train dietetic interns;
- Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.
