Nuclear Med Tech/Radiology
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a graduate of an accredited program AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer or NMT or has Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) registry.
The NMT is responsible for providing timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administering a variety of nuclear isotopes for the purpose of scanning for and detecting pathology.
- Regulating equipment used to scan.
- Printing, developing, and organizing films.
Job Requirements
- BLS, ARRT R, ARRT (N) OR CNMT registered.
- 2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
- Must include permanent home address on the submission.
- Must be greater than 50 miles from facility.
Schedule Information
Shift: Days 8a-5p, Monday-Friday with weekends & call (call rotation every 3-4 weeks).
