Job Summary:
The Department of Radiology, UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation Technologist for the area of Positron Emission Tomography (PET). The Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation Technologist will support the research, translational and clinical patient care services at the Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research (WIMR).

Education:
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Registered/registry eligible in nuclear medicine: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N).
Preferred:
- PET Certification (NMTCB), CT Certification (ARRT).
- At least one year (internship or professional experience) within Nuclear Medicine and/or Positron Emission Technology.
Documentation of Certifications and State Licensing required upon hire. Certifications, appropriate state licensing, and continuing education requirements must be maintained.
Work Type:
Full Time: 100%. It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Salary:
Minimum $75,000 ANNUAL (12 months). Depending on Qualifications. The starting salary for hire into the Instrumentation Technologist I title is $75,000 and the starting salary for hire into the Instrumentation Technologist II title is $85,000. Actual pay is determined at hire and is based on experience and qualifications.
This position is eligible for a hiring bonus in the amount of $10,000.

Applicants for this position will be considered for the titles listed in this posting. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.
