Founded in 2021, Navi Nurses has helped hundreds of nurses to provide thousands of hours of care across the greater Phoenix area. Navi is hiring a Nurse Navigator to help continuously improve the company’s standards of care for clients, nurses, and healthcare partners, while also supporting the scale of Navi’s operations.
Nurse Navigator II Role Summary
The Nurse Navigator II is central to Navi’s core operations by adding warmth and credibility to the client intake process, while demonstrating clinical expertise to assist new and existing clients in building personalized care plans. The Nurse Navigator II ensures the highest quality of service for each client's co-created care plan, with the support of Navi Nurses administrative team and nurse contractors.
The Nurse Navigator II role supports Navi’s internal and external operations with a particular focus on Navi’s acute clients. The Nurse Navigator will balance responsibilities across client management, clinical assessments, client advocacy, nursing support, guiding care planning, data reporting, and clinical operations. The Nurse Navigator II will build co-created care plans with new clients that are acute in care needs via in-person visits. They will manage the ongoing care needs of the client and handle clinical inquiries from nurses for their caseload, while appropriately escalating client needs to the Director of Nursing.
Minimum Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Arizona RN license in good standing, unencumbered.
- 4+ years of direct client care experience (at least 1 year in an acute setting within the last 5 years).
- Current AHA BLS and/or ACLS.
- ASN or higher & graduated from an accredited nursing program.
- Complete the 20+ hour in-person training with DoN.
- Navi RN Contractors with at least 6 months working in Navi are HIGHLY encouraged to apply.
- Strong preference will be given to RNs with 2+ years of ICU or ER experience, with ICU, PCU and / or ED experience within the last year.

- Provides excellent customer experiences and attention to going above and beyond.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both digitally and in-person, when conversing with clients and nurses.
- Comfortability with technology and excellent knowledge of Google Suite Tools, Gmail, and other healthcare platforms.
- Enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with high levels of autonomy and ability to learn quickly on-the-job.
- Excitement to adapt to the changing responsibilities of this role as Navi continues to scale across the US.

- Technology Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Navi’s telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and healthcare applications.
Location
- 25% Local Travel Required; must be willing to meet new and existing clients across Maricopa County, in-person, as determined by business needs.
- Must have access to a computer / laptop, phone and reliable internet.
- All training will be done in our office to start with which is centrally located, and will transition to hybrid and potentially fully remote depending on performance.

Schedule
- Availability for a minimum of 20-40 hours per week, including weekends.
- Flexibility in weekly hours and days worked.
- Flexibility to travel across Maricopa County to visit clients and nurses during their shift.
Compensation
- This is a 1099 contract position. High-performing candidates may be eligible for employment after at least 6 months.
- $45-$50 per hour with opportunity for performance-based bonuses, on at least a quarterly basis.
