Position Summary: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
Core Functions:
- Assesses patient needs and reviews available information.
- Formulates and initiates a patient-specific plan of care.
- Implements the plan of care through direct patient care and supervision.
- Evaluates the patient's response to care and revises the plan as needed.
- Documents all care in the patient record.
- Provides care based on the best evidence available.
- Contributes to society through activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes.
- Interacts with all levels of staff and external contacts regarding patient health.
Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification required. Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred.
