Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and assessments using advanced diagnostic equipment.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with hearing and balance disorders.
Provide counseling and education to patients and families on hearing loss, treatment options, and the use of hearing aids and devices.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and treatment plans.
Travel may be required to provide services at various locations, as needed.
Qualifications:
Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au.D.)
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a clinical setting
Texas Audiology License required
Certification of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A)
Valid Texas Driver’s License (required for individuals identified as HMC Designated Drivers)
Strong human relations and communication skills (both oral and written)
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, Microsoft Word, and other computer programs
Willingness to travel for patient care
