Job Title: Nurse Educator - Emergency Department
Location: Torrance, CA
Position: Full-time, 8-hour variable shifts

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nurse Educator to join our Emergency Department team. In this role, you will lead educational initiatives, mentor emerging nursing leaders, and promote evidence-based practice. Your expertise will help develop the clinical skills of our ED caregivers, enabling them to manage critical situations such as strokes, heart attacks, trauma, and more.
Join our award-winning Clinical Education team, recognized for excellence with two Magnet designations. Through our PTAP-accredited program, you will support new graduates transitioning into the ED, Angio Recovery, and Cath Lab, enhancing patient care in key areas like the Comprehensive Stroke Center and Stemi Receiving Center.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Advanced clinical specialization
- Coursework in adult education, Performance Improvement, and research methodology
- Active California RN License upon hire
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
- Minimum 3 years of acute hospital experience in a clinical specialty
- Minimum 1 year experience in adult or patient/family education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or enrollment in a Master’s program
- Nursing specialty certification within 2 years of hire
