Requested Skill Set: Trauma patient management, IV administration of vasoactive medications, ventilator management, chest tube management, care of post-op neurosurgical patients, cardiac rhythm identification and management, hemodynamic monitoring, care of stroke patients.
Must have: Advanced skills needed: ICP monitoring/EVD management, strong neurological assessment skills.
Procedures performed on unit: Chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia; arterial line and central line placement.
