Overview:
The Orthopedic Technician, while under the supervision of the physician/surgeon assists in rendering care and providing services to the orthopedic patient. The Orthopedic Technician is a specifically trained allied health individual in the field of orthopedic medicine.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Experience: Minimum 2 years as orthopedic technician, unless certified as an OTC by the National Board of Certification of Orthopedic Technologists. Previous physician office experience.
