Falcon Health Center, a subsidiary of Wood County Hospital, is now accepting applications for an Urgent Care RN, MA or LPN. The Urgent Care Nurse will assist providers with patient assessment, examinations, and treatments. The nurse collects and labels specimens during specimen collections and is also responsible for giving routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider, as appropriate with level of training and/or certification.
Job Duties:
- Assist physician or provider with patient assessment, examinations, and treatments.
- Document patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.
- Administer routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider.
- Promptly respond to patient phone calls and concerns.
- Triage patient phone calls, in accordance with office policy.
- Obtain specimens (i.e. throat, urine, wound, etc.) using proper technique and following policy and protocol for labeling.

Required License/Certification:
- Licensed RN or LPN in the state of Ohio, or Registered Medical Assistant
