A Brief Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist Lead is a leadership role responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the radiologic technologist team. This includes overseeing daily operations, performing radiologic procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
What you will do:
- Perform all mandatory QA on equipment, including necessary calibrations of the treatment units, troubleshooting machine issues, and training staff on equipment use.
- Obtain high-quality examinations for all procedure types in the modality, ensuring staff competency in performing all procedures.
- Assist in the interview/hiring process under the direction of the Manager, provide input for performance reviews, recognize employee achievements, and coach staff as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies that impact the operation of the Hospitals.
What you will need:
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology Required
- 5+ Years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, with demonstrated leadership skills required.
- ARRT - Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required
- Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - State of Illinois IEMA (IEMA) Required
- AHA Heartsaver CPR - American Heart Association (AHA) Required
