Job Summary and Qualifications
Position Summary: This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora campuses. Under the supervision of the radiologist and leaders, the RN oversees and directs the care of the patient in diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric. The RN is responsible in caring for patients in all areas IR is responsible for including OR, recovery areas, spine, and other modalities when needed.
II. Position Requirements:
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license. BLS and ACLS Certification required.
B. Education: Graduate of school of nursing program.
C. Experience: One-year experience in ICU, telemetry or ER preferred.
D. Special Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members. Strong critical thinking skills.
- Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
