- Full time, DAYS schedule
- NO Holidays, Weekends or Call
- Outpatient setting
- The RN, Wound Care (CWON) will support patients across General Surgery, Urology and Colorectal Surgery teams

Responsibilities of the Certified Wound Care Nurse (RN)
- Develop and recommend the plan of care for patients throughout their post-operative course
- Provides advanced clinical guidance to physicians and nursing staff regarding the management of complex wounds, fistulas, moisture management, and pressure ulcers
- Determines appropriate nursing interventions for identified patient problems, symptoms, and teaching needs in respect to wound and ostomy care
Requirements for the RN, Wound Care (CWON)
- RN Active License
- Completion of an accredited WOC Nursing Education program
- Current Wound, Ostomy and Continence Certification
- Minimum five (5) years of total nursing experience
- Minimum two (2) years of recent WOC nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Self-directed, independent thinker who possesses a high level of autonomy and flexibility
