Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of Unit. The Nurse Manager directs, supervises, and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff, contributes to the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff, and supports work redesign and quality improvement within the department. The Nurse Manager plans and administers the annual budget in collaboration with the Director, Nursing. The Nurse Manager integrates evidence-based practice utilizing the nursing process. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Job Information
- This is a full-time position as Nurse Manager with the CCU Stepdown unit.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, required.
- Minimum of three years of progressive management experience, required.

Qualifications
- BSN, required.
- MSN, preferred.
- Current Florida State RN license.
- Current BLS through American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
