The Iowa River Landing Clinic is seeking a 100% Clinical Pharmacist. Clinical Pharmacists provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care services in an Ambulatory Pharmacy setting and will be responsible for daily operations of the pharmacy. Clinical Pharmacists will also support medication distribution, education, and collaboration with Iowa River Landing clinics and staff.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) on clinic-administered medications and take-home prescription orders.
- Documents all patient care activities performed.
- Coordinate patient communications and interactions.
- Facilitates operational initiatives which lead to enhanced patient care services.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Pharm. D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required.
- One (1) year of pharmacy experience is preferred. Prior work and student rotational experience will be considered.
- Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a welcoming and respectful workplace environment.
