Description of the role:
With A Little Help is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinator (scheduler) to join our team in Seattle, Washington. As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the care plans and services provided to our clients. Your role will involve working closely with clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure that all aspects of care are well-managed and meet the needs of our clients.
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for coordinating care services between our Caregivers and clients. Matchmaking is a big part of this role as you will be matching our Caregivers with appropriate clients, assuring not only schedules match up but as well as location, skill set and personality. Supporting caregivers and thoughtful customer service are important parts of this role. This position requires heavy phone and email interaction, excellent communication skills, organization, patience, problem solving, empathy and a desire to help the elderly and other vulnerable populations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the delivery of care services to clients
- Assess client needs and develop individual care plans
- Ensure that appropriate caregivers are matched with clients
- Schedule and coordinate caregiver visits and shifts
- Provide support and guidance to caregivers
- Maintain accurate and updated client records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community resources
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies
Secondary Job Duties:
We are a small company, and all support each other. Other responsibilities may include getting cross trained to support other operational departments and functions such as:
- Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of caregivers
- Compliance support and other general office support
- Experience, interest and ability to do some fill in as a caregiver is an added plus
Job Types: Full-time Hourly, In-Person
Pay: Competitive $27-$37/hour rate based on experience, plus additional on-call compensation
Expected Hours:
- 40+ hours per week
- Overtime as needed
- On-call 1-2 weeks a month

Qualifications Required:
- (1-3+ years) Home Care scheduling experience. Other health care, or social services experience will be considered
- Proven strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Managing client/caregiver caseloads for scheduling
- Experience building workflows for efficient tracking, engagement, and communications with caregivers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong attention to detail and the demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, manage time and multi-task
- Expert experience with Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, and a solid understanding of computers
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and ability to pass a criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving (HCA/CNA) experience is a huge plus (1+ years)
