Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will work with patients to improve their physical movement and manage their chronic pain. Your primary goal will be to develop personalized treatment plans that restore patients to their maximum functional potential. You will evaluate patients’ medical histories, diagnose their injuries or conditions, and create customized exercise plans that promote their physical rehabilitation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct patient evaluations to assess physical limitations, pain levels, and development opportunities
- Develop personalized treatment plans and exercise regimens to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion
- Implement and oversee treatment plans, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments along the way
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including orthopedic specialists and rehabilitation technicians
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, explaining exercises and activities to be done at home
- Document patient progress in medical records and communicate with insurance providers to ensure coverage
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or master's degree in physical therapy, or a related field
- State license as a physical therapist, following completion of a National Physical Therapy Examination
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage time
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
- Proficiency in electronic medical records software
