We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our clients. You will be responsible for conducting diagnostic assessments, creating customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, and providing individual and/or family and couples therapy. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients as well as a current LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LSW, LISW, LISW-S, MFT, IMFT license in Ohio. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and/or family therapy to clients.
- Assist with intervention for patients during crises.
- Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing, as well as collaboration with other staff members, to determine a patient’s mental health status.
- Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need.
- Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans with goals and objectives.
- Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support).
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work; a master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist.
Compensation: $49,000 - $53,000 yearly
