Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' physical conditions, creating personalized treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to help them regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. Your expertise and care will play a pivotal role in assisting patients in overcoming injuries, managing chronic pain, and maximizing their overall physical functionality.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical history, physical conditions, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals, medical history, and current physical status.
- Perform hands-on therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other proven rehabilitation methods.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, therapeutic exercises, and home care techniques.
- Monitor and measure patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting their progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards within the scope of physical therapy practice.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy research, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Proven experience in assessing and treating a diverse range of patients across different age groups.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to develop effective treatment plans.
- Empathy, patience, and compassion to provide emotional support and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Physical stamina and the ability to assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises that may require physical exertion.
- Proficiency in utilizing medical software for documentation and patient management.
- Commitment to maintaining professional competence through continuing education and professional development programs.
