Radiologist Vice Chair of Informatics
Position Overview:
The Department of Radiology at the University of California, Davis is looking for a Radiologist, Vice Chair of Informatics, at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Professor of Clinical Radiology or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series.
Expectations for the HSCP series include providing patient care, engaging in public and University service, and participating in teaching and scholarly work. Expectations for the Clinical 'X' series include providing patient care, research, teaching, and engaging in public and University service.
As a Vice Chair, potential candidates will provide guidance for the development of Radiology Informatics vision and strategy to support clinical operations, quality improvement, and research. Candidates will also participate in the annual and multi-year information technology roadmap and operational planning framework.
Responsibilities include working alongside radiology residents and abdominal imaging fellows, with no overnight or evening call responsibilities.
