Our client is located in Issaquah, Washington. Located just east of Seattle where the Puget Sound meets the Cascade Mountains, Issaquah is known as a place for great family values, a strong focus on outdoor recreation, and environmental stewardship too. It has lots to offer with top-rated schools, unique tourism amenities, and a dynamic business scene. They have a neighborhood clinic in Bellevue and will open up a Redmond location later this year.

What You’ll Be Working On
- Engaging and communicating with clients to build lasting relationships
- Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments with oversight from veterinarians
- Getting, maintaining, and inputting patient information into our internal platforms
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Monitor patient conditions during treatments, procedures, or activities
- Perform laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment
- Maintain and build a positive work environment
- Grow your skills with training, mentorship, and continuing education
- Up for the wild card! You never know what each day will bring.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology
- LVT license or able to become licensed in the state of Washington
- A minimum of one year of experience is required
- At least five years of experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer savvy
- Experience with treatment and examination in general practice
- Advanced medical and technical skills in both canine and feline
- Confident in communicating and educating clients on proper care
- Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
