Job Overview
Under the general or direct supervision of the Physician-In-Charge or designee, the Physician's Assistant (PA) will perform the following duties and be further guided by the specific Delineation of Privileges:
- Direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Preparation of detailed assessments of patient referrals.
- Development and writing of instructional/training materials.
- Conducting individual or group therapy sessions.
Qualifications
Work requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the clinical aspects of patient care at a level normally acquired through completion of an approved Physician's Assistant Program culminating in a Bachelor's degree of Science and three to five years of previous work-related experience. Licensure required as a Physician's Assistant by the State of New Jersey. Work requires the analytical ability to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of scientific or technical principles, theories, and concepts, and in-depth experienced-based knowledge. Work requires the ability to develop and write instructional/training materials and communicate effectively.
