The Opportunity
The IT Intern is responsible for assisting the Helpdesk with the day-to-day tasks performed within the team. The position can be demanding and requires good analytical thinking, time management skills and most importantly excellent customer service skills.
What You'll Do
- Basic computer, network, phone and software troubleshooting.
- Logical analysis and problem solving.
- Must be creative and quick to resolve problems related to IT Infrastructure.
- New computer installation and maintenance of existing computers.
- Software installation and support - Microsoft Platform.
- Printer maintenance and setup.
- Assist Systems Administrators in accomplishing goals and assigned tasks.
- Duties related to file and print sharing.
What We Expect from You
- Majoring in Computer Science or a related field.
- Help Desk experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Platform, Windows XP/7/8.1/10, Server 2003/2008/2012R2, Exchange 2010, and Office 2010/2013.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access), AutoCAD preferred, additional software knowledge depending on specialization.
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation for this role is $22.00/hr
