Position Description
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the overall clinical care of all residents throughout the facility and to assure that all care is coordinated and provided. Cadia is dedicated to providing the best care possible and that’s where you come in!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, charting, etc. as necessary.
- Review all staffing for the assigned shift and assure each resident has an assigned nurse/CNA. Review shift PPD and make staffing adjustments as required.
- Make rounds throughout the facility at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Replace any call offs that are received during the shift.
- Communicate all events/incidents and resident concerns to DON/ADON. Assist in developing and implementing corrective action when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state or compact state.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor in long-term care or healthcare related facilities.
- Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred.
