The role you’ll contribute: This position contributes to the mission and goals of the department by providing professional quality Nuclear medicine imaging services in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Always uses two types of patient identifiers (name and date of birth) matched with arm band
- Performs quality CT scan studies upon orders of licensed practitioner
- Verifies physician order prior to scanning
- Checks with physician, floor RN, Radiologist if clarification of orders are needed
- Assures radiation safety for patients and associates
Qualifications:
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of JCERT approved Nuclear Medicine program
- Current Florida license in Nuclear Medicine, must have either CNMT or ARRT (N)
