Job Title: Perioperative (Surgery) RN Program (BAP00000021)
Description:
The Perioperative Nurse Program is a 6-month program that teaches a Registered Nurse how to perform the circulating role in the operating room. Scrub skills will be introduced as well. Applicants can be new graduates or experienced professionals new to the Operating Room. You are hired as a full-time employee before the program begins and start earning wages and benefits on the first day of the program. Our leaders promote the opportunity for growth within the Surgical Services department. Shift varies with day/evening opportunities as well as split shifts.
Qualifications:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for general supervision and coordination of the activities of nursing personnel on days, evenings, nights, and on weekends and holidays, in order to ensure quality and continuity of patient care; accepts and supports the philosophy, purpose, and objectives of Baptist Health and the Department of Nursing.
Education/Experience:
Position requires successful passage of RN examination and a current AL nursing license. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. BLS. Additional specialty certification per P&P for assigned unit (PALS, ACLS, etc.).
License/Certification required:
Current AL Nursing License; BLS; (ACLS; PALS where applicable).
