JOB DUTIES
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 35-40 hours a week
- Facilitate the collection, processing, and shipping of blood specimens
- Follow policies to correctly identify the patient before any specimen is obtained
- Properly label and document the specimens and prepare for shipment
- Enter all required patient/test information into the Company LIS or complete the Company's manual requisition in order to process, result and bill the sample
- Demonstrate customer service and compassion when interacting with patients, physicians, and clinic staff
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Requirements
- Phlebotomy specimen collection experience required
- Graduation from a standard high school or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent minimum
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal (bilingual English and Spanish preferred)
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour (Target rate is $16.00 / hour)
This position is a hybrid, in that essentially this individual would work for Nandra Family Practice four (4) days a week and for Luxor one (1) day a week.
