We have an opening in Cambridge, MA for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2+ years of emergency medicine or 3+ years’ experience in high volume urgent care, which includes the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
In the center, you will:
- Examine and treat urgent care patients
- Ensure proper injury care, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
- Prescribe and administer medication
- Request necessary tests and follow-up visits
- Refer patients to specialists, as necessary
Our centers are open 7 days per week from 8 AM to 8 PM. Full-time positions must be able to work three/four 12-hour shifts per week (84 hours biweekly), including every other weekend.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Provide 5-star patient care; we love our patients and want you to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and fluid work environment
- Experience with EHR systems, occupational health, emergency room, and family practice procedures
- Able to use necessary medical equipment: EKG, nebulizer, etc.
Education & Experience:
- A current NP or PA License in one of our urgent care states, in which you are applying
- Must be credentialed to see patients of all ages
- Active DEA license with no restrictions
- Current DOT certification or ability to become certified
