Duties
Pay: $35.53 per hour.
Schedule: Full Time or Part Time, Days, Monday - Friday

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for treating and preventing minor injuries and illnesses. You will provide information and guidance for the promotion of good health and well-being of our students.
- Provide nursing care to students.
- Assist in providing supervision to the staff LPNs/LVNs to assure compliance with all state regulations and scope of practice.
- Provide basic healthcare to students as required by DOL including all entry requirements and immunizations.
- Monitor students with illness and unable to attend class.
- Provide input on staff nurse performance to director.
- Provide staff training for wellness staff and assist in the implementation of new and revised standards.
- Conduct coordinated health care for students and implementation of other health-related programs.
- Assure chronic care management including medication management case conferences of all students with chronic illnesses.
- Provide direction and technical assistance to LPNs in all required health-related programs.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Certified, licensed or accredited in the state of employment as Registered Nurse and one-year nursing experience is required.
- Experience with youth.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
