This is a MICU/SICU unit. MUST HAVE: 2+ years ICU experience, experience with hemodynamic and ventilator management, trauma patient management, IV administration of vasoactive medications, ventilator management, chest tube management, care of post-op surgical patients, cardiac rhythm identification and management, hemodynamic monitoring, and care of stroke patients. CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. PROCEDURES: Chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia; ECMO, arterial line, and central line placement. SHIFT: 7p - 7a.
