Job Description
The Manager has twenty-four hour responsibility for management of an assigned service lines/areas such that the delivery of high-quality patient care is assured and designated budgetary parameters are maintained.
The Mother/Baby nurse manager is responsible for care delivery of the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum population, as well as the well newborn population.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the position, the candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing; currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland. Must meet all unit-specific certification requirements: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM are required. Professional Certification preferred. Three to five years’ leadership/managerial experience preferred.
