Job Overview
Responsible for developing and coordinating programs and services that provide patients at SJRMC and SJWH with optimum therapeutic management of their disease states. Regularly offers and receives constructive feedback regarding pharmacy practice and patient care issues. Work requires staffing at multiple sites within the St. Joseph’s Healthcare System.
Qualifications
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a PharmD and two to three years of previous work-related experience as a clinical pharmacist, and/or completion of a pharmacy practice residency. Registered and licensed in accordance with NJ Board of Pharmacy Requirements is required. Work requires completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 pharmacy practice residency or 2 to 3 years of progressive hospital clinical pharmacy experience. New hires have 2 years from the date of hire to complete Board Certification in clinical pharmacy practice (e.g., Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy, BCPS). Immunizer Licensure as outlined by the NJ Board of Pharmacy is required. New hires have one year from the date of hire to receive Immunizer Licensure and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
