My Client is a 550+ bed nonprofit Magnet hospital that is a nationally top ranked cardiovascular hospital.
They have an urgent need for a Rockstar Cath Lab Manager to take their Cath Lab services to the next level.
The Cath Lab Manager is responsible to assess, plan develop, organize, implement, control and evaluate services and activities for the Cath Lab. Has 24 hour responsibility for all adult and geriatric patient care activities, area operations, staffing and staff functions for the Cath Lab. The Manager of the Cath Lab Aware of and fulfills legal, professional and institutional policies, regulations and standards. Responsible for interviewing and hiring qualified staff and staffing labs appropriately to meet the patient care needs. Plans and prepares various budgets for designated cost centers as well as tracking dept productivity. Keeps abreast of the latest developments/technology available in the field; capabilities and progress of activities in other hospitals in the area; and maintains a liaison and good public relations with outlying communities and hospitals. Accountability is monitored through cost center goal achievement, Performance Improvement and Patient Safety results, direct observation and budget management. Functions with limited supervision, utilizes independent and collaborative judgment in decision making, demonstrates leadership abilities and problem solving skills. Supervision of Cardiac Cath technologists.
Qualifications:
- BSN
- BLS
- ACLS
- 2+ years Cath Lab Experience
