Marin Community Clinics, founded in 1972, is today a multi-clinic network with a wide array of integrated primary care, dental, behavioral, specialty, and referral services. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide vital health services to almost 40,000 individuals annually in Marin County. We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Behavioral Health Supervisor with a passion for mentoring and training Latinx/BIPOC clinicians and working with diverse and Spanish-speaking clients. The Behavioral Health Supervisor joins a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated health care team, collaboratively working with medical providers, nurses, medical assistants, receptionists, and other members of the organization. The behavioral health supervisor serves in a clinical leadership and training capacity on the behavioral health team and co-leads development and implementation of MCC’s ASW training program in Integrated Behavioral Health, with a special focus on training bilingual and bicultural clinicians.
SIGNING BONUS: $20,000 signing bonus available. Specific program terms and conditions apply.
WORK SCHEDULE: Hybrid Position, but will need to be in person three days a week.
Responsibilities
FOUNDATIONAL ORIENTATION:

FOUNDATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provides culturally tailored, evidence-based treatment to MCC patients (adults and children) with mild to moderate behavioral health needs.
- Provides clinical and administrative supervision to junior LCSWs/Psychologists and/or unlicensed ASWs.
- Supports the design and implementation of MCC’s BH training program.
- May develop and lead or co-lead psychoeducational/therapeutic groups.
- Engages patients and their families in their own healthcare and wellbeing.
- Collaboratively develops flexible scheduling practices to meet patients’ needs.
- Shares knowledge and expertise with co-workers and colleagues.
- Collaboratively develops multi-disciplinary workflows to maximize team care for patients.
- Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with valid California State License and at least 2 years post-license experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relational skills.
- Ability and desire to work both independently and as a core member of a team.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and high tolerance for ambiguity.
- Able to effectively communicate about behavioral health philosophies and treatments.
- Ability to see 4 patients per 4-hour shift.
Qualifications
DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with local resources.
- Experience with and passion for working with diverse populations.
- Experience working in non-traditional mental health settings.
- Experience as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Prior experience working in a shared electronic medical record.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Psychotherapy assessment and intervention in Spanish.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Use of Word, EPIC electronic health records.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:
- LCSW - Must be licensed in CA.
- Must have two years of post LCSW experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged sitting and use of computer, mouse, and keyboard.
- Frequent movement throughout our clinics.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
