We seek a Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This onsite position will be floating between our pharmacies located on Long Island, NY.
Hours of these Genoa Healthcare Pharmacies vary by location but all within Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm. No nights, weekends, or holidays.
Locations: Bay Shore, Roosevelt, Huntington, Copiague, Freeport, and Massapequa, NY
Primary Responsibilities:
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist license in state of New York
- Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
- Ability to drive with active driver's license and access to reliable transportation
New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $42.31 to $83.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
