Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- MN License
- 1+ Years of Experience – Required
- Adult and Geriatric Population Experience – Required
- Open Heart Surgery, Impella, IABP, and Post Cardiac Arrest Experience – Required
- AHA or ARC BLS
- AHA or ARC ACLS
- CCRN
- Epic Experience – Highly Preferred
- CRRT – Highly Preferred
- Trauma Level I – Highly Preferred
Shift: Nights / 11p-7a, 8×5, 40hrs per week, EOW, No call

Cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) travel nurse jobs provide care to acutely ill patients who are recovering from cardiothoracic (CTICU) conditions or events, such as open heart surgery, AAA repairs, and CABG. A CVICU travel nurse must be capable of administering care on a full spectrum, from clinical tasks such as medical history analysis and diagnostic testing to personal care such as counseling patients and family regarding home-care and wellness. Overall, the CVICU nurse treats some of the most acutely ill patients in the hospital and must do so safely and compassionately.
